After three weeks of back to back weddings, I found myself in a serious case of wedding jet lag. So much so that I actually fell sick to my bones after weeks of burning the midnight oil. It’s time like this that reminds me I’m getting old. kekeke…

I thought I’d squeeze some time between my doped up mind and crazy mood swings *too much cough and flu med, without a doubt* to blog about the recent wedding in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I feel so blessed that we always have the nicest, greatest clients. Coupled with the fact that we had an awesome ensemble of wedding crew – Jason and David of Fifoto, Alvin and team from Mayad Studios and Amy from Sutera Harbour Resort. Amy was da bomb! She really went the extra mile to assist us with so many wedding details. We even had the pink carpet couriered all the way to KK and kept it at her office! Literally, next to her work desk.

The garden ceremony was held at the hibiscus garden overlooking the sea. It drizzled..then poured on the day before the wedding, during our rehearsal. The same thing happened on the wedding day. Nonetheless, we were really blessed. It drizzled during the setup time, then the rain stopped and we decided to go ahead with the wedding. Towards the end of the ceremony, it started to drizzle again and it wasn’t until we completed the entire wedding ceremony that it started to rain. The result – was a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony. I ought to stop crying at weddings!

The ceremony ended around 6:00PM followed by some shots around the resort and dinner started at 7:30PM, 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled time. We were really impressed that Mayad Studios managed to get the video out on time to be shown during the dinner.
